Forget Northern Lights, see the Lake District Nocturnal Rainbows

Tonight you can see a Nocturnal Rainbow in The Lake District, Cumbria. It's one of seven temporary art installations on three different lakes this week, part of Lakes Ignite 2016 in the English Lake District.

'Tonight We Ignite a Rainbow' is my latest video poem, inspired by the installation "Seven Nocturnal Rainbows" by Charles Monkhouse. 250 LED lights produce drifting technological rainbows on the lakes. The inspiration for the art work came from Turner's picture "A Shower" - Buttermere.

You can read the poem on my site at http://poetinmotion.org/lakes-ignite-seven-nocturnal-rainbows/
