Introduction
Pierre Erwes has over 22 years of combined senior-level management and consulting experience. He is a serial entrepreneur, a business development executive with extensive operating experience developing strategy and relationships with third parties in marine bio resources, biotechnology, and high tech.

After two executive positions in his early career, he became an entrepreneur and created and developed a successful consulting practice in the areas of international sales, and business development for Life Sciences Industry. He built a strong international network of affiliated professionals in Europe (including Eastern Europe), North America and Asia. 

From May 2005 to November 2008, Pierre Erwes worked as CEO of BioEvents (Lyon - France). This structure has provided help and support in the development of many innovative projects as well as in the organization of events of global significance such as BioVision – a world forum on life, BioSquare – a business convention, and finally in 2007 and 2008 : BioMarine.

In January 2009, he started BioTopics SAS, a company at the crossroads of investment, business, and research. It operates and manages several international platforms about marine bio resources and marine issues- with an economic and business approach, and is designed to optimize and accelerate business opportunities and the development of small innovative companies.
