There is more then one way they can do it, read about them here and there. No experience myself. I like the game to much.

That's very funny... and explains why I will never master pronunciation rules!
Whoever said that #learning   (about) #Englishlanguage  couldn't be #fun ?

Whoever wrote defending is possible if you are on site has clearly never tried it

When defending by recharging remotely I always get the same behaviour. I can recharge quite well, but at a certain point I stop receiving attack notifications for 30/60 seconds. I can't recharge as the portal is fully charged, and at the end of the quiet period I just receive the notification 'your portal has been neutralised'

Well, I had my office portal attacked while I was in the office and the same happened defending by deploying. I could not deploy any more as the portal was full, quiet period, portal neutralised - and I was on wifi. I started blasting xmp (my adversary was deploying) and after a very short battle I took the portal back notwithstanding my adversary deploys.

+Tom R Earlywine -that's a valid point. I don't have much urban playing experience so I don't see much of what you describe. But that is exactly how we level agents here, which takes time to plan and execute. It usually requires a road trip with our van full of agents, some clearing while others claim. And we've had several people quit for that reason.

I guess as long as we are all equally screwed it is what it is.

+Niantic Project +Brandon Badger have you ever consider increasing the action radius (and deploy resonator distance) for higher level players?

The rationale is: when you are L1-L4 your only chance to pop a resonator is to stand on it.

When you are L7-L8 it basically where you are does not make any difference.
This make the game MUCH easier for high level players while the game should progress to requiring more skills, not less.

I believe a longer deploy range for L8 would disfavour L8 opponents much more than L1, make portals a harder to capture and force people out of their car.

EDIT: when I started playing over one year ago (and for a few months) there were no L8 around.

Resonators placement was a fine art and forcing opponents out of the beaten track was really enjoyable (same for taking a portal - studying enemy resonators placement to figure out the best attack etc). That is one of the factor that made me fall in love with the game.

Now, basically, who cares. You just hit deploy, and as long as you are not on top of the portal it doesn't matter.

+Michael Edmond correct that is the reason they are using to deny.

The most disgusting espresso I ever had in my entire life. Over boiled overpriced filtered coffee in a small cup is *not* an espresso.
