Low-quality content. Duplicate content. Pages like those could be harming your entire site's ability to rank, and in today's Whiteboard Friday, Rand helps you get started cleaning house.

App interstial ads are now officially considered by Google as not mobile friendly
If you content is not mobile friendly, you will rank lower in the mobile results. Beginning November 1st, mobile interstitial app ads that block content will be considered as mobile unfriendly. This means that if you care about mobile SEO you will need to get rid of those content blocking ads.
Interstitials and overlays that disrupt users are harmful to your brand, hated by users and likely to make your site rank lower soon.

After November 1, mobile web pages that show an app install interstitial that hides a significant amount of content on the transition from the search result page will no longer be considered mobile-friendly.
