Hi,

is it possible to share URLs without all that crappy stuff around (CM Browser tag + name of the page)?
Most of the time, I share URLs to apps which can only cope with a single URL, so I have to use the copy+paste way when using CM Browser...this sucks...
...maybe an option already exists and I'm to blind to find it... :)

I'm trying to implement Material design for my App. I want to support Material design for Android version 14+.
I've updated the main activity successfully with this tutorial http://antonioleiva.com/material-design-everywhere/ using the appcompat v7 lib.
Now here is my question:
Is it possible to use this lib with PreferenceFragments (including Headers and all that fancy stuff) too?
Is there any tutorial online?
Because I get an error when calling

        getSupportFragmentManager()
                .beginTransaction()
                .replace(android.R.id.content, new myPreferenceFragment())
                .commit();

telling me, that PreferenceFragments are not supported.
Material Theme is now included in AppCompat, so that you can easily create pre-Lollipop apps usign the new Google Design. This post covers how to do it.

After MPDroid and KiiKeyboard, another one of my favorite apps got hit by Googles random bans. Thanks Google for keeping up with your "Don't be evil!" slogan!

Well thanks Google for another random strike on applications ...

#Yatse   have been removed from Play Store after 2.5 years of presence for an obscure "Violation of the intellectual property and impersonation or deceptive behavior provisions of the Content Policy" without any more details and warning before.

Nothing was changed at all apart filling the new forced content rating form and suddenly lost all my revenues.

I hope someone human answer with details soon, but I'm joining the anger from all developers around about how #Google treat devs, take 30% share without problem but certainly do not do support or act as human when killing someone.

KIP THORNE LOOKS into the black hole he helped create and thinks, “Why, of course. That's what it would do.” ¶ This particular black hole is a simulation of unprecedented accuracy. It appears to spin at nearly the speed of light, dragging bits of the universe along with it. (That's gravity for you; relativity is superweird.) In theory it was once a star, but instead of fading or exploding, it collapsed like a failed soufflé into a tiny point of inescapable singularity. A glowing ring orbiting the spheroidal maelstrom seems to curve over the top and below the bottom simultaneously.

I have a problem with the mirror app:

I followed the instructions: joined this community and the beta and installed the latest version from play store (1.0.1.7). All went well so far...I have a rooted Nexus 5 with the latest Slimkat stable build installed.
Now here is my problem: every time I start the mirror app, it closes immediately without any force-close pop-up.

Anyone else having this issue? Any hints how to fix this?

Thx and cheers.

Way more funny than the iPhone 6 vs Nexus 4 comparison picture. They are selling a mediocre smartphone for 999€ (1291$)... :-D

Apple executives had a lot of kind words for the products they announced this week.

And here they are, cobbled together by a +TWiT editor.
