+Frank Dufaux Yeah I saw that. I would've lost the bet. Unpredictable.

+Craig Clark the shadows are made by duplicating the hands, coloring them black, then adjusting the opacity (usually 30-50) then offsetting the X and Y coordinates.  They then follow the original hand around in a realistic manner just like a real shadow by changing directions as they rotate.

First attempt. I wanted to make the hands look less flat and have the right shade of dark blue. But was kind of hard to get it right.

Thanks +Scott Nemiro! I'm starting to make it now. I've got the background done. Just need to do the hands now. Cheers.

Thanks Dolphin. Because I still need Flash for some legacy sites.
Dolphin web browser for Android has a new update rolling out that brings Flash support to your Android 5+ Lollipop device, themes for the season and more.

Finally took the time to make a Tasker task ("Task 1") to launch and play last song in Spotify via WearTasker.

It would be more appropriate and elegant for Spotify to integrate this feature by themselves instead.

I've been using this watch face from +Rico Fox's EgFox Design, and it grew on me. I started playing around with colours and found that the tinted version on the right created a 3D-like illusion. Let me know if you agree with me, or is it just my imagination?

This is the 2nd iteration of this face. I added the missing tail to the second hand and converted to use white arrows based on a tip I got from +Lon Lawrence's post. So you can tint the arrows to your liking.

It's still lacking depth. Hopefully in a next iteration, it'll have some shadows.

Many have questioned whether we need smartwatches and asked what would the single most important feature of a smartwatch be that would cause it to be a trend like the smartphone? Since the Moto 360 came out, I'd say the answer is clearly the ability to use customisable watch faces. The kings (and queens) of smartwatches would have classic good looks ranging from sporty Casio G-Shock to classy Rolex, have a 400+ dpi full screen (multi-layered if possible), no flat tire, animations at 60+ fps, and battery power to last a day with lots of screen-on time. Sound, waterproof, ambient light sensor, health monitor, and device integration features would be lower priority. What do you think?

Charging in the office.
I just noticed that it fits quite nicely.
(Not that I need to, since I've never run out of juice during the day, but I just happened to have an orb charger in the office.)

I switched my vote to sometimes (from Never). After seeing the votes, I tried ambient mode with different watch faces. And some are more useful than others. The digital ones with big fonts (e.g. Novi) still looks nice in dim mode.
