Web News Editor @ Burlington Free Press. Social media & iPhone pro, breaking news hound. Arizona State grad, from Milford, Conn.
Web Editor since 2010 for the Burlington Free Press, a Gannett newspaper and Vermont's largest. Have helped grow BFP online traffic and social media audiences substantially since my arrival in July, 2010. Referrals from Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter and other domains have climbed significantly since joining the company.

Former Website Editor (2001-2009) at the East Valley Tribune - a paper which used to be the second-largest daily in the Phoenix metro area. I am a Broadcasting graduate of the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University, and grew up in Milford, Connecticut.

Recipient of a 2012 Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi Award for Online Deadline Reporting, and 2012 Associated Press Media Editors Digital Storytelling and Reporting Award with the Burlington Free Press. My contributions to the award-winning work included shooting iPhone-generated photos and video, reporting breaking news and delivering social media updates from the scene of an Occupy Burlington shooting.

Significant experience working with online news, social media, SEO, mobile technologies and web analytics.
Bragging rights
Good things seem to happen in the newsrooms I work at, including increases in website visits and page views by the millions. Also highly successful in growing social media brand audiences, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram.
