I interviewed someone who plays heavy metal and loves hockey, because I love heavy metal and write about hockey.

Only 10ish hours left to get 500 more votes. Make it happen before the food truck operators go in front of the common council

I think LulzSec broke Twitter with his/her/their anti-Murdoch shenanigans. Well played, LulzSec and Anon. Well played.

Just saw it. I'm actually surprised TBN is clueless, since their sister organization is well aware of the Outlaws and our parties.

Today is a big day for soccer in Buffalo.

First, FC Buffalo closes out their sophomore season and says farewell to team star Mike Unwin at noon versus the New Jersey Blaze. The game is at noon at All High Stadium (behind Bennett High School just off of Main St on Mercer Ave).

Then, the Buffalo chapter of the supporter organization American Outlaws is throwing a big viewing party as the ladies of the USWNT take on Japan in the Women's World Cup final. The party starts at 2:30PM at Gecko's on Hertel (between Norwalk Ave and Sterling Ave).

If you're a soccer fan or just a Buffalo or WNY booster (USWNT star Abby Wambach, if you haven't heard, is from Rochester), come on out!
