I recently did a post about my experiences with the Sony FS5 from a shoot I did for Sony. That shoot was back in October and I hadn't really used the camera since then as it was on a very brief loan from Sony for the job. As an owner of an FS7 (amongst many other…

Phillip...
I truly admire and have always looked forward to all of your various, camera tests, projects and your now your mini-documentaries... This one Olly Knights... Has a special significance for filmmakers. Because of today's technology, we all have a film studio available in our homes... & I hope that this film on O.K. will inspire more filmmakers to take the time to muse... to reflect... to be personal... & to create at home... ALONE! Instead of always having to utilize the carnival and the cacophony that goes along with the traditional process of filmmaking...
Thanks for this inspiring mini-doc & Keep on keeping on!

Another month, another camera from Sony...this is almost actually not an exaggeration! At least these new cameras tend to excite each time, mostly! We have just had the FS5 announced at IBC but what took most people by surprise was the expected-to-be-released-but-sooner-than-expected replacement for the A7S, the not surprisingly named A7S II. The FS5 which…
