And you thought you knew TP

Now you know.

The “over versus under” toilet paper argument has been waged in bathrooms everywhere since it was first invented.
Plenty of space online in the form of polls and listicles has been dedicated to the proper way to orient our toilet paper.
The subject even has its own section on Wikipedia filled with arguments for “over” (reduces the risk of transferring germs, easier to find the end, looks better) versus “under” (tidier appearance, harder for a pet to unravel the roll).

Ok. Innovation can stop now. I officially can't keep up.

#Google just introduced a whole new kind of Chrome OS computer—a dongle that plugs into any HDMI-equipped display. It’s called a #Chromebit, and it isn’t your run-of-the-millstreaming stick. For under $100, you’re looking at a full computer that plugs right into your TV. #Linux

...five impressive women in STEM ... making their mark by cleaning up the environment and making technology accessible.

Danielle Fong went into graduate school to study nuclear fusion with the hope of finding a solution to one of the greater problems facing her generation: the energy crisis. She quickly discovered that a solution powered by fusion energy was too far in the future -- commercialization of fusion power likely won’t be seen until 2050 -- and extremely expensive to fund. So Fong pivoted her thinking. She left her doctoral program and went on to create an innovative way to store energy through a highly effective air compression and expansion system that is twice as efficient as the average air compression process due to the introduction of a water during Fong’s compression process that cools the air for storage.

In 2011, women made up only one quarter of the American workforce in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and their presence in computer occupations has dropped in the past 20 years. The few trailblazing women who are in STEM toda...

No one saw the irony.

"Keep Redskins White!" Members of the American Nazi Party demonstrate against desegregating the Washington, DC, football team, October 1961. Currently, Washington, DC's pro football team, the Redskins, has the distinction of being the only team in the NFL whose name is a racial slur. A little more than 50 years ago, it had another unfortunate distinction: It was the last remaining all-white team in the league.

Sunlight kills, but coal-fired plants might be worse

Rewire reports that during the test, operators fired up a third of the 110-megawatt facility’s mirrors, concentrating sunlight on a spot 1,200 feet off the ground. Over a six-hour period, biologists counted 130 "streamers," or trails of smoke and water left behind as birds ignited and plummeted to their deaths. Rewire’s anonymous source said that at least one of the birds "turned white hot and vaporized completely."

But they aren't the deadliest energy source for our feathered friends

Great video, but not enough attention paid to the PvP requirement. I calculated the amount of time it would take me to to spend in the Crucible for 500 pts and it's mpre than a month - I never do better than about 10-15 pts per session (around 1.5-2 hours). Great side-effect? my K/D ratio is very high now ;-)
