Ah, favorite bedtime stories.

"Three children played in the garden; Alta was ten, Jason was twelve and Varina was three hundred and seven."
The kids always fight bedtime stories because bed comes after story. But I hooked them in the first two paragraphs. This sentence sealed the deal: "Three children played in the garden; Alta was ten...

I mention Savage Worlds in the opening, but this one is all about players, character sheets and conventions.

A modular fortified house. This is a rough map of a rough stone fortified house. The intended scale is 4 ft per square, but it can be adapted to other scales. There are no interior walls and 3 levels and two outlines that can be used for either alternate rooftops or basements. The second floor can be used to represent any number of intervening floors so your house can be as tall as you like. (This was adapted from a real 7 storey building.)

It was intended for use with D&D or LL, but can be used for game system.

I am using it for my summer campaign, there is some background material that can be ignored or used as needed.
Potamus Lake is the primary ranching area on the Peninsula of Pently. Historically, the largest threat to citizens are hippopotami. Many ranch houses are round or square homes with very thick walls...

The Stratosphere Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) has webpage that features this artwork of Pluto. (It isn't a photo, but art). Does it looks suspiciously like the Destiny logo or is it just me?

I have this one, and its pretty good as fusion rifles go, but in general I find them best suited to PVE, they're out classes by shotguns in close range and then outclassed by hand cannons and pulse rifles in medium range encounters. The charge rates are brutal...
