Checking In

+Senda Linaugh and I are just starting on a game that will have a potential for a lot of emotional tension and intensity. Rather than just put in a few paragraphs on 'You need to be safe...here's an Xcard', we want to hardcode safety into the game.

So one of the things we want to have, as a formal part of the rules, is a check-in where when someone introduces some content, that they check-in with the table to make sure everyone is ok. But we recognize that having to talk to everyone can slow the game down, so how can we create a check-in that can be done without slowing down the overall game.

Any suggestions for subtle but explicit check-in?
