That's my awesome boy!
He's endured so much and still manages to smile and be a happy joyful little boy.
THE families of these children have something in common – they never gave up hope.

Giddy up!
For those who didn't want to import (it is a bit of a headache if something goes wrong!) your time has come and your patience will be rewarded.  :-)
We’ve talked quite a bit about the Android TV here at Ausdroid, and while the international rollout has been a bit slow, we got on the game early with some imported Nexus Player models from the USA, as have a number of you guys. However, today’s news is kind of exciting. Google is bringing Android TV to Australia officially, with[Read More...]

+Darren Kemp I made the switch and it's soo much less buggy than my chromecast. There are so many 2.4Ghz wifi signals in my neighbourhood I swithed to 5Ghz on the Nexus Player.

So we got some pretty good results lately with Alex's MRI and we've had a turbulent, but relatively stress free & happy ride for a while.
Alex had his MRI in March which was the usual day in hospital, followed by several days of biting our nails, followed by enormous amounts of relief when we got good news in the results. There are 3...

An interesting catch and a development I'm looking forward to!
What we’re looking at could be the announcement of Sony’s widely anticipated Xperia Z4 smartphone, which seems to have been launched in Japan over the weekend with little fanfare. This news is rather surprising, given previous launches have been much more widely publicised than this. Engadget Japan is reporting that the flagship Xperia Z4 has been launched, with very similar[Read More...]

The Sony magnetic chargers are great. But so glad they got rid of the flap over the micro USB port. Mine (Z2) hasn't closed properly for ages and I don't trust that it would be waterproof anymore.

Given the opportunity (and cash) I would upgrade to this in a instant.

By the way, Sony seems to price their phones a bit under Samsung's and HTC's flagships in Australia. You can even get them retail/outright from Telstra at competitive prices.

Gave hosting a crack on the +Ausdroid podcast last night. +Jason Murray and +Scott Plowman were very kind to me on my first shot.

Hopefully I did well enough to get another go at it soon-ish.
