For Wisdom Wednesday, we asked Eda S. “What is the best advice you feel you could give someone today?” Although she said this was a tough question, her answer was “Always be honest, and never fib. That way, if you make a mistake, at least it was an honest one.”

Heavenly Scrumptious will be joining us on February 10th at TWO different times to teach us how to create cookies into amazing pieces of art! By donation, you can join this class and decorate 10 “love” inspired cookies! All proceeds raised by this class will be charitable to Molalla High School’s Annual Share the Love fundraiser. Please contact Kaylie, at Pheasant Pointe, to sign up!

Priscilla, Vonda, Wayne and Hannah made birthday cards for the Holidays for Heroes program. Stickers are the key! The Red Cross Holidays for Heroes program enables Americans to “Give Something That Means Something” this holiday season and other holidays year-round. They are inviting the public to join their local Red Cross offices to thank and recognize members of the military, veterans and their families through a variety of activities. Our residents look forward to creating new cards for all occasions each week!

“I’ve always wanted to be an artist, but I don’t have an artistic bone in my body! Coloring, drawing, painting…all relax me. Even if I can’t stay in the lines! I do it anyway!” ~Priscilla H.

With this chilly winter weather we’ve been having, Priscilla and Don decided to assist in putting together food packs to donate to the Molalla Warming Center. The Molalla Warming Center exists to provide a welcoming and safe overnight refuge to un-housed individuals of the Molalla area during periods of extreme weather, and is staffed entirely by volunteers. We will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items, as well as any warm clothing items such as hats, scarves, socks, etc. These will be put into more packs to distribute to the warming center through the winter.

For an extra special holiday gift to our amazing team here at Pheasant Pointe, our Executive Director surprised all of our employees with these commemorative ornaments. We had a very elegant holiday party and delicious dinner at Legend’s Bar and Grill this year. We want to thank all of our team, as well as the staff at Legend’s, for an amazing evening. We will have the photos soon for everyone to see!
