Layla was an overlooked Pit Bull mix until James, a Marine Corps veteran, came along - and became our second honorable adoption through our partnership with Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. The shelter waives pet adoption fees for our members and did an amazing job making this match!

James tells us he's more in love with Layla every day, and can't imagine his life without his little sweetheart.

Patrick is an Army war veteran who coped with PTSD, substance abuse and a loss of purpose when he came home, but his pets changed his life for the better.

Recently he saved a dog who spent more than 450 days in a shelter - nearly half his life - adding the Pit Bull to his family of four cats and another dog.

We create unique opportunities for members of the military community to save a life by honorably adopting homeless, at-risk dogs and cats.
Introduction

Our mission is to transform the lives of veterans and service members by helping them adopt shelter pets that are overlooked simply because they are adults, large breed dogs or special needs animals.

We provide veterans with an affordable way to find the best match of pet for their lifestyle through our nationwide network of shelters, help with the startup costs of bringing a new pet home, and give our members access to lifelong discounted care through partnering veterinarians. Our program is free to veterans and service members.

Help bring four-legged healing to our nation's heroes; join us!
