Dear #followerpower, we're looking for people with communication skills who love to solve Linux problems. Yes, these jobs are about bugs and telling how to fix them. Prague, Nürnberg, worldwide (one of the worldwide jobs should be in Brazil - that'd be great for timezone matters... kontact me if you're interested - there's a referral bonus program!

I've been asked to help with ringing the white storks in southern Bohemia. Now I finally have some pictures. BTW, the guy on the high chimney is me ;)

I just spent an hour or so experimenting, digging inside /usr/include and 'gcc -E'ing to find out how to trigger the [-Wunused-result] warning from gcc for glibc library functions. The internet is full of posts about how to turn it off, but I couldn't trigger the warning.
It turned out that one needs to compile with -Ox and -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=y, where (x>0 && y>0).
Final note: after reading some parts of glibc code I really don't know if I should admire or be sorry for the guys working on glibc.

I'm back from 4 days hiking in the Giant mountains (CZE). I'd expect to lose at least 1kg of weight, but nope... May be those beers are the culprit?
