I need time to reflect on this one a little ...
I've genuinely found most pleasure in my work life developing people around me. As a consequence, my primary business goal is to create a consultancy that merges personal and professional development to tackle both performance and job satisfaction issues in the workplace. I've found that providing assistance to get into the right job is often the starting place for a very beneficial on-going relationship.
I'm proud to say a software development background has allowed me to create a pretty good career management system that serves as an excellent toolkit for Career Management in a number of respectable organisations in the UK. I use the tools in my own (equally respectable) career coaching practice too.
I've worked delivering meals in a psychiatric hospital, long 12 hour shifts. I have been part of exciting and some not-so-exciting software development teams, working around the clock and around the world. I've been a technical director for an Internet business working through insolvency to reach its potential.
And now I focus on equipping people to experience and enjoy their own Career Journey.
