Another one infographic about the current situation (red - spending, blue - taxes). This also explains a lot regarding why Crimean citizens want to break up with Ukraine. Supposedly they believe that Moscow won't touch their profits, but that's another story.

I also see another interesting thing. It looks like Ukraine's economy partially resembles Russian's one - just a few profitable regions (the capital and a couple of industrial regions) surrounding by a large mob of poor, subsidized counterparts. This doesn't look stable enough to me in a long-term run.

So we might have a unique opportunity here - take a peek into the possible future of Russia as well.

+Denis Koryavov т.е. вы предпочитаете в мировозренческих вопросах опиратся не на факты, а на то что кто-то там написал? Или сугубо на то что укладывается в ваше собственное представление? Это мышление из разряда, я хороший потому что допустить мысль что я плохой - больно.

Oh, indeed. I know what \g does and it's not that helpful in everyday tasks like checking replication status. Turns out I'm biased here. Like, never actually read the message ant thought it was proposing a better layout.

Good news - there won't be a full scale military conflict. First almost all Ukrainian military groups near the conflict zone are now swearing allegiance to self-proclaimed Krimea government. Second, the East and South regions of Ukraine are with Russia rather than with EuroMaidan. EuroMaidan leaders shouldn't discriminate Russian citizens of Ukraine - now it's time to pay for their russophobia.

Looks like Putin wins again.

Well, it's clear that there are radicals on both sides, no one even tried to deny that. But where there any actual pogroms by Pravyj Sektor against jews or russians in Kiev or any other city ?

Ok, #Crimea has voted and 93% (or even more) of voters are with Russia. The result was quite obvious for everyone - that was just like "Do you agree with your salary bump - yes or no?"

Now this raises a few interesting questions. If such a referendum was to be conducted in lets say Königsberg / Kaliningrad would the locals vote for rejoining Germany or not? And what would people of Karelia say regarding Finland? Just a theoretical thinking.

+Adam Rutkowski If so many people wanted to stay in Ukrain why didn't they voted for second option and Crimea parlament to join Ukrain?

Надо быстрей перенимать опыт у Яныка, даже если по российским понятия он национально неполноценнен
