See also taxis; you don't need to stop in the middle of a single lane road with cars either side when there's a massive two car wide space literally two feet in front of you.

Went here for a meal to celebrate my GF's mothers birthday last night, and had an excellent meal. I was the only one that had a starter, as I was hungry, and the Moules were excellent, as were the olives and bread dips that the rest of the party tucked in to whilst I put away the mussels. For the main, I was sharing the Chateaubriand with the birthday girl, and we had it rare... it was lovely indeed, and the Lyonnaise Potatoes and the sauce were outstanding too. I tried a little bit of the Carbonara from a friends plate, and a bit of Tuna Nicoise salad too... Thoroughly enjoyed the evening - the staff were happy, friendly and knowledgeable. I'll certainly be going back, not least that they stock my much favoured Havana Club rums!

We went to Coco Rio on a friends recommendation for our anniversary after going to a show and loved it! Shared a lovely meze for a starter, and shared our mains of fillet steak chilli and a tasty gumbo. All topped off with serving my favourite havana club rum. Will be looking for a reason to go back to Southampton to eat here more often!

I've eaten many times at Sant-Yago in Southsea, and its by far and away my favourite restaurant in Portsmouth at the moment, and a great way to spend an afternoon. I recommend their tasty dark mojitos (particularly as we always get there early enough for their offers), the calamari is ace, the valencia salad is very tasty, the fillet steak topped with Manchego cheese is equally awesome. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming - you should go and eat there!
