If you want 'said' CEO position, it's taboo, but if you're just being social media savvy, +Peter G McDermott has a better handle on the courtesies then I do!

Comment 'till your hearts content! 😁

Where did we come from?

It's so exciting to live in a time where we are advancing technology to levels unimaginable just a few decades ago. We're also so lucky to live in a period where evangelists like +Neil deGrasse Tyson and +Bill Nye play such a big role in getting the world excited about science so we can continue to ponder these very important questions.

My First Contribution to +LinkedIn.

So, I woke up this morning to attack my e-mail with coffee in hand. While I was reading through things, I found a few LinkedIn notifications and then discovered that I have been given the ability to publish. So, instead of wasting the opportunity or delaying it for later, I brewed another cup of coffee and "got at it" as +Scot Duke would say. If you feel so inclined, please take a read and let me know what you think!

Introduction
You've probably never heard of me, and that's okay. In fact, that's what Google+ is all about. Unlike traditional social media, Google+ is based on the interest graph. Here you're free to connect with people that share the same interests and passions as you.

What I Post About: If you're looking to figure out what circles to include me in, here are a few things that I often post about:

- Travel
- Technology
- Food & Drink
- Google Glass
- Google+ Hangouts

I don't ever post about one certain thing, and I always try to create a conversation around my posts. I encourage everyone interested to join the conversation in the comments. It's a great way to meet new people that share your passion.

My Blog:

PeterGMcDermott.com - I am also available to write guest posts, just send me a message through my profile or ping me in a private post to let me know what you're looking for.

My Google+ Communities:

Community Moderators - This is a grassroots community of moderators that come together to share the experience and expertise in effort to help each other build stronger communities.

Blogging for Beginners - A community for new and intermediate bloggers to learn more about blogging.

Nashville+ - Your source for everything you need to know about Nashville, Tennessee. This community shares information about businesses, events, food, jobs, music, technology and more! If you're just visiting, or here to stay, Nashville+ is your source for everything Nashville.

If you're looking for the directory of my most prominent posts, I've moved them to my blog. You can find them here: How to Do Almost Anything on Google+. The post is a bit dated though, as a lot of the Google+ user interface has changed and evolved over time.

How to Use Google+: http://epublishunum.com/making-killer-google-plus-profiles/ - A great resource by my good friend Evo Terra.

Have we met? I like to keep track of everyone that I've met in person to ensure I keep them in my circles. If you'd like to tell me how we met, please do on the comments of this post: http://goo.gl/WLxr8A

This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Cool Springs. The food is always fresh and on point. The staff is extremely friendly and the ever changing selection of craft beer is always intriguing.

I hate to write a negative review on a place that has potential, but I wish others had been more honest in their reviews. The place has sticky carpet, a makeshift bar, glass tabletop covers and business cards inviting you to follow them on Twitter (which only gets updated once a month) and to be their friend on Facebook. The service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. The food looked great, was prepared well but came to the table with inconsistent temperature and was overly seasoned. When we asked for the check the server asked if we had any "promotions." This might be a great place to grab some pasta for a quick business lunch, but if you're looking for a great dinner in Little Rock, look elsewhere. If you're the owner, I will be glad to provide suggestions and constructive criticism in much more detail.

Not a bad strombolli! It's my first time in but the staff is friendly, service quick and food delicious. When ordering restaurant items from the menu keep in mind that they are pre-made and reheated in the pizza oven. I can't wait to come back and split a pie!

As someone that works in the hospitality industry, I am very discerning when it comes to good food and good service. I am always looking for the best and am usually underwhelmed or disappointed. A few months ago, some good friends of ours introduced us to this unassuming restaurant in Brentwood. We never would have thought much of it until our first dining experience. The food here is absolutely excellent and amazingly affordable. The service is friendly and prompt. The drinks are well-crafted, reasonably priced and a great deal during happy hour. The next time you are looking for a place to grab a steak and a glass of wine, bring your sweetheart or your work colleagues here and you won't be disappointed and you might even have a few extra dollars left in your wallet.

This is the busiest Starbucks location in Middle Tennessee. It is also one of the only Starbucks in the country with a Drive-Thru to serve Starbucks Reserve coffees through the Clover brewing process. Because of its proximity to Brentwood and Franklin it attracts a certain income bracket that love to enjoy a latte on their way to the office. Therefore, it can be SLAMMED on weekday mornings (especially Friday). If you want to get in and get out quick, park your car at the adjacent lot (don't park too close or you'll get blocked in by the snaking drive-thru line). The service is fast, friendly but attentive to detail, so be patient when waiting for your drink, there were probably a dozen orders made before yours that are still on the bar. Tech Tip: If you are looking for a place to plug in, the community tables in the back of the seating area have AC outlets built into them (a great surprise!)

The food tastes like warm canned dog food and the margarita tastes like lime dish soap. A shame, too. I used to like this place. ¡Adios!
