I like to think of myself as a modern gentleman. I mean who else gets hair product and a stick of RAM in the same Amazon order...

Are you following me on LinkedIn?

As I find free time this year, I plan on publishing a few posts on LinkedIn. Because sharing links from their platform doesn't work so well over here, please follow me there also if you would like. Thank you!

It's cocktail time. Go ahead and pour yourself a drink.

This is a Dripping Springs vodka martini from the Texas Hill Country with a splash of vermouth and three pimento stuffed queen olives.

+AJ Schultz never became much of a gin drinker. I will do an occasional half & half martini if I'm feeling it. Otherwise, a G+T can be refreshing in the summer, but I usually find it tasty too sweet. Ironic, as bourbon is usually my poison.

"The day after the game, a surgeon installed a 5.5-inch plate and a dozen screws in his arm. In theory, the surgery would allow him to play long before the bone healed—though it’s still supposed to set you back for six weeks, according to one expert in the field. "

For the past 3 years or so I've told every friend that'll listen that if I had any money whatsoever to invest, it'd be in 3D printing technology. This field is going places, and will one day be as common to the masses as cell phones are today.

I am immediately struck by their desparate need to use Google Slides. That would have eliminated the need for the Bellmen to do such heroics. But we'd need Google to make a great film out of it. (Actually, someone should point this short out to Google and have them make a spoof of it).

+Peter G McDermott Argh, why does it take G+ 10 hours to notify me of your reply? Even 4 hours after +AJ Schultz replied....

Interesting. I've never thought of Autonomy in that light.

Hi Scott,
I tried tying in 'Cowspiricy,' a film on the effect on Earth's resources
from 70 billion feed animals but didn't realize that as a new follower of
Peter's my post, on Cowspricy and link, didn't didn't show up, so I just
posted my thought.
A longer thought is that our planet will not longer be able to support the
resource needs of all those animals, including methane production and land
use. We will all be forced, at some point, to deal with quickly
disappearing resources by giving up on quality beef, sheep, fish, etc...
from our diets (except the wealthy among us who will still be able to
afford them as delicies.)

I hope this clarifies things somewhat. I was fortunate to be able to watch
the film and review the website for his list of references.
http://www.cowspiracy.com/facts/

But you may also want to google Cowspriacy fact checks as well for possible
opposing points of view.

Thanks for asking,
