I have both Programs on my computer and was wondering which was the better. After reading this review I realised why I couldn't decide which to prefer as both do their jobs excellently with a few caveates. Very good and thorough review.

Talking of bias frames have you had the chance to use SuperBias module by carlos? It takes your bias frames and by magic it is able to turn it into a master bias of 2000+ frames. I used 60 frames for the module to use and on the 2000 frame the image was clear of superflous noise and gave a perfect bias pattern made by my canon 1100d camera. You have to go to calos' modules that he is working on to find superbias but it is a definite jewel in Pixinsight

Always had a problem in Pixinsight trying to work only on bias frames without success as it always asked for lights and darks etc., but thanks to this procedure I am now able to find making a bias master easier
