Question: Yeshua said this: "You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we (Jews) worship what we DO KNOW, for salvation is from the Jews." (John 4:22). Yeshua confirmed that the Jews had the correct understanding of who their God is. So the question is: did the Jews understood God to be a TRINITY God?

Questions for those who believe Jesus is the Most High GOD:

Everybody agrees that our Most High GOD is ALL KNOWING (Omniscient) as explained in:

Psalm 147:5 “Great is our YHVH and mighty in power; His UNDERSTANDING has NO LIMIT.” and also in:

Isaiah 46:9 “I am GOD, and there is none like me, declaring THE END FROM THE BEGINNING and from ancient times things not yet done.”

"IF" Jesus is the Most High GOD he should know THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, correct? Here is what the scriptures teaches:

Mat 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father (the one true GOD) alone."

Some say Jesus was not fully GOD while on the earth. Well how about many years after his resurrection when Jesus was already seated at the right hand of GOD in the HEAVEN (he was NEXT to GOD):

Revelation 1:1 “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which GOD GAVE to him, …” --  -- "IF" Jesus is the Most High GOD shouldn’t he know THE END FROM THE BEGINNING. So why does the scripture teach that GOD needed to give Jesus a revelation about THE END OF TIMES? IF Jesus is the Most High GOD shouldn’t he be ALL KNOWING (Omniscient)?

Should we understand who Jesus is from man made doctrines or from Jesus' teachings?

Matthew 16:15 “He (Jesus) said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are Christ (Messiah) the son *OF* the living GOD." 17 Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by *MY* Father IN HEAVEN."

Jesus taught us in John 15 “I am the true VINE, and my Father is the GARDENER.”

In this parable, Jesus is teaching us about his PLACE in regards to the Father. The GARDENER is his FATHER and his GOD (John 20:17). Now isn't the planted VINE (Jesus) GOD’s first CREATION as confirmed by another witness in the bible:

Col 1:15 “The son is the image OF the invisible GOD, the firstborn from all CREATION.”

We need to always consider the CONTEXT:

Jesus said in John 10:30 “I and the Father are ONE."

The question is what did Jesus mean by that?

Jesus explains in: John 17:11 “I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that THEY may be ONE as WE are ONE.”

So Jesus explained to us that he wants US, ALL the followers of GOD, be ONE as he is ONE with the Father.

Don't you think that Jesus' teaching RULES OUT the traditional Christian understanding of John 10:30?

Jesus said in John 14:9 “... Anyone who has SEEN me has SEEN the Father. …”

The question is: What did Jesus MEAN by saying “who has SEEN me”? The one way to find out is to be like Bereans and search other related passages since scripture WILL interpret scripture for us.

In John 5:37 Jesus said: “And the Father who sent me has Himself testified concerning me. You have NEVER HEARD His VOICE nor SEEN His form, …”

Since Jesus teaches us in John 5:37 you have NEVER heard the Father’s voice and you have never seen the Father, did Jesus CONTRADICT himself in John 14:9 by saying: because you have SEEN me you have LITERALLY seen the Father? Of course not.

So what did Jesus mean by saying “who has SEEN me”? The word “SEE” has other meanings such as to “UNDERSTAND”, etc. This works in many languages including English till this very day. When a friend describes a person to me over the phone and I reply “I SEE” I don’t mean I had literally SEEN the person. What I mean is I UNDERSTOOD the description of the person.

That’s why John 14:9 should be seen/understood as: Anyone who has SEEN / UNDERSTOOD Jesus has SEEN / UNDERSTOOD the Father.

Jesus elaborated on this and teaches us the following: John 14:24 “... the word which you hear is NOT mine, but the Father's who SENT me.” and John 7:16 “Jesus answered, "My teaching is NOT my OWN. It comes from the ONE who SENT me.” and in John 12:49 “For I did NOT speak on my OWN, but the FATHER who SENT me COMMANDED me to say all that I have spoken.”

In other words if you can SEE / UNDERSTAND Jesus' teaching then you can SEE/UNDERSTAND the Father because those teachings came originally from the one true GOD.

In addition to John 5:37, do we have other scriptures that supports this interpretation?

Exodus 33:20 “But He (GOD) said, "You cannot SEE My face, for NO MAN can see Me and live!"

1 John 4:12 “NO ONE has EVER SEEN GOD; ...”

Can these scriptures and Jesus' words be any more CLEAR?

Is Jesus the Most High GOD, the one true GOD? Or is Jesus an appointed god? What is the definition of the word god (elohim in hebrew) based on the bible?

Disclaimer: Notice that any CAPITAL letters or any text in parentheses are mine emphases as the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek writings do NOT have capital letters. Also I recommend you to be like Bereans and examine the Scriptures every day to see if what I wrote is true. (Acts 17:11).

I was used to understand that the word “god - elohim” can refer either to the one true GOD or to FALSE gods. In other words I understood the word had only TWO meanings. However, as I kept searching through the scriptures I noticed there is a distinct, THIRD category and that is “appointed gods”, who are servants of the one true GOD and who were APPOINTED and given AUTHORITY from the one true GOD, the Father. The reason I was not aware of this before is due to Jewish and Christian translations rendering these “god - elohim” passages as “leaders”, “judges”, “mighty ones”, etc.

So who falls into this category of “appointed gods” and which scriptures support this interpretation?

Judges as “appointed gods”:

Exodus 22:8 "If the thief is not caught, then the owner of the house shall appear before the god (in Hebrew “haelohim” referring to a judge), to determine whether he laid his hands on his neighbor's property. ... the case of both parties shall come before the judge (haelohim; before the god); he whom the judge (in Hebrew: elohim, god) condemns shall pay double to his neighbor.”

Exodus 21:6. “his master shall bring him to the god (haelohim, referring to a judge), and he shall bring him to the door or to the doorpost, …”

Leaders as “appointed gods”:

Exodus 4:16 “And he (Aaron) will speak for you (Moses) to the people, and it will be that he (Aaron) will be your speaker, and you (Moses) will be his god (in Hebrew "elohim"). - Notice that God just gave Moses an authority and appointed him god (elohim).

Exodus 7:1 Then YHVH (LORD) said to Moses, "See, I make you god (elohim) to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet. -- Notice that GOD just gave Moses the AUTHORITY to be the appointed “god” over the most powerful leader on the earth.

Angels as “appointed gods”:

Psalm 82:1 A song of Asaph. God (Elohim) stands in the congregation of God (El); in the midst of gods (elohim, referring to the angels) He will judge.

Psalm 82:6 I said, "You are gods (elohim), and all of you are Sons of the Most High.” -- Notice that the angels are called gods and the SONS of the Most High God YHVH (LORD).

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age (referring to satan - the angel accuser) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was WITH God, and the word was god.

The scripture explains to us that our Father is the God of these “appointed gods” in:

Deuteronomy 10:17 "For YHVH (LORD) your God He is the God (Elohe) of THE gods (ha elohim) …”

So HOW do we distinguish between the “appointed gods” and the one true God, the Most High God YHVH?

Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is NO authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are APPOINTED by God."

We shouldn’t even need any scriptures for this common sense understanding that all AUTHORITY and all APPOINTMENTS come from the one true GOD. Therefore you will know whomever was given the title “god - elohim” and proclaims to be APPOINTED and GIVEN AUTHORITY you will know he or she acts as an “appointed god* on behalf of the one true GOD

What category does Jesus belong to? Jesus told us himself:

John 12:49 "For I (Jesus) have NOT spoken on my own AUTHORITY but the Father who sent me gave me a command what I should say and what I should speak."

Matthew 28:18 "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All AUTHORITY has been GIVEN to me in heaven and on earth." --  --- Right here is Jesus teaching us that he is NOT the one true GOD because the Most High GOD can NOT be APPOINTED and can NOT be given an authority. Jesus was MADE the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and the scripture also teaches us that Jesus's authority does not include the Highest King, the one true God, the Father:

Daniel 7:13 “I saw in the visions of the night, and behold with the clouds of the heaven, one like a son of man (the Messiah) was coming, and he (the Messiah) came up to the Ancient of Days (to GOD) and was brought before Him. 14. And He (GOD) gave him (to the Messiah) dominion and glory and a kingdom, and all peoples, nations, and tongues shall serve him (the Messiah); his dominion is an eternal dominion, which will not be removed, and his (the Messiah’s) kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.”
Now compare the scriptures of Daniel with the first century scriptures: 1 Cor 15:27 “For He (GOD) “has put everything under his (Messiah’s) feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him (under Messiah), it is CLEAR that this does NOT include GOD Himself, who put everything under Messiah.”

The Messiah taught us himself that he was GIVEN an AUTHORITY from our Father and in this way Jesus is teaching us in the scriptures that he is an appointed god because the one true GOD can NOT be given an authority nor can He be appointed because GOD is the El Elyon, He is the most High GOD..

In conclusion, to put it all together when Isaiah 44:6 states there is no other God besides YHVH (LORD) it means there is only one true GOD and that is our Father. And when Deut 10:17 says that YHVH (LORD) is “GOD of the gods” it means that GOD is the GOD of all of His appointed gods. I’d like to praise our GOD for giving me an understanding which I am able to share and explain from His WRITTEN Word to other believers. If I made any mistake or I am missing anything please do let me know as I am always searching for any scriptures that could enhance my current understanding. May our most high GOD open our eyes and our ears and give us the understanding of His scriptures!

Always remember Jeremiah 29:13 "You WILL search for me, and you WILL find me, WHEN you search for me with ALL your heart."

Russian soldier selfies and social media posts expose Russia's involvement in Ukraine. Again.

I posted a link to a Buzzfeed post about a Russian's soldier's Instagram posts that appeared to suggest that Russia was inside Ukraine and shelling government forces:

Lots of people piled on, said it was a hoax, a plot or a big misunderstanding -- or, just Buzzfeed sensationalism.

But now there's a lot more such posts emerging:

And that's really becoming the story behind this conflict: Social media posts are contradicting the story being told by the Russian government. And like I said in my previous post -- welcome to the future. When every soldier can photograph and communicate to the world, it's probably a good idea to not like about where those soldiers are or what they're doing.

Another funny dimension to this is that the Russian government -- and the soldiers themselves, in some cases -- are saying they were hacked and that it's not the soldiers who are posting the pictures and posts. But then: "on July 29, the Russian media reported that Vadim Solovyov, a Communist Party Duma deputy, is working on amendments to the Federal law on military service that would essentially ban army servicemen from posting to social networks any photos depicting military equipment or arms. Highly sensitive information conveyed in such images, the deputy believes, undermines state security and “could be used by the Western media for provocations.”

The Ayotollah Ali Khamenei is known as the "Supreme Leader" of Iran. The Islamic extremist governance has kept Iran involved in terrorism by direct funding of weaponry to terrorist entities or by proxy. Iran has supplied Hamas with more sophisticated long range missiles used on attacks against Israel.  Last Spring, the Iranian vessel, the Klos-C, was intercepted by Israel with a shipment of weapons, presumably, headed for Gaza  .

Iran has a deplorable record for human rights violations, especially, towards political dissidents, or those daring to speak against the terror regime or its leaders.

For Iran to achieve its nuclear ambitions and possibly obtain a nuclear weapon, would be a national security threat for the entire world...not just the Middle-East.
under the scope-ISI opinion

In May, after the stalemate in the nuclear weapons negotiations, the Ayatollah Khamenei gave his warning that "Jihad" can only end when world is rid of America.

read in entirety
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told members of parliament in Tehran that Iran must be armed and 'have the capability to defend itself' in a 'world full of thieves'.

Yes let's all talk to our self. How about proving prayer actually works before you advocate it over actually doing something.

Overall it's a decent dentist clinic. My only problem was they require to pay upfront and then they found out they could not do all the work and it took them several weeks to put my money back on my card. The procedure itself was painless. The doctor explained to me well all my options, and I had a quick healing so overall I was satisfied.

When I arrived they were able to change my tire right away even with having many customers. They changed my tire in about 20 minutes and they found a tire with even better price than they told me over the phone. My only problem was to get in and out of the shop since they are at a curved intersection on a major road 17. But $110 out the door with a fast service.

This is the only "fondue" restaurant in Charleston we could find and we had a good experience. First we hesitated to come cause some reviews mentioned small portions. When we got our food we had the same perception but then we couldn't even finish all our food. We liked the relaxed service and the distinct decor. The food was excelent for a reasonable price so we definitely recommend this unique "fondue" experience.

Good sushi, kitchen is open always late, sometimes very noisy on Wed and Thu past I'd say 8pm; service seems to be done by college kids but it's not bad; reasonable prices; overall I would recommend it if you are OK with some of those things I mentioned.

When I called to inquiry about mattress pricing, the representative advised me they have mattress sets starting at $39. When I arrived there the same day $39 mattress set was for kids with just a 3 inch thick mattress, the next available mattress set was $119 with similar thickness. The advertised price was not even displayed and when I decided to buy it, the salesperson advised me they don't have them in stock and and with a baffling honesty told me to my face $39 set is really just to get people in!!

Fish specials are excellent! Anything with coconut milk is to die for. Food, service, and decor feels very authentic Thai. This place is 15min from downtown so it's more quite, not very busy but the service and quality is a little better than its sister location in downtown even thou I really like the food from both! Prices are reasonable so I would definitely recommend to try them.
