Dang beat me too it. Gonna have to modify my design now.
Drones may sometimes get a bad press as killing machines, but here's one that could actually save your life. Put together by researchers in Iran, this autonomous flying machine is designed to help people who are drowning at sea.

Another awesome thing! Create electronics that potentially power themselves.
Using inexpensive materials configured and tuned to capture microwave signals, researchers at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering have designed a power-harvesting device with efficiency similar to that of modern solar panels. The device wirelessly converts the microwave signal to ...

Would love to go visit el Salvador and visit the land of my daughters heritage. And do a little downhill!

Three months of filming in El Salvador should give you a bit of perspective on life in other countries. "For a Salvadorian, the bicycle is life [...] This film reveals the real reason they ride.” – Mike Gamble
Last April we spent 3 weeks filming in and around San Salvador, the capital city of El Salvador. Being home to nearly 6.3million people, its the smallest and most densely populated country in Central America. Our plan was to meet up with local rid...

This is amazing. UAV's and 3D printing are completely awesome and nuts at the same time.
Autonomous quadcopter drones aren't all about flying into dangerous areas where humans fear to tread. Besides being disposable, they also make for perfectly precise pint-sized pilots, as this Lexus ad entitled Amazing In Motion demonstrates. When you watch it, keep in mind that not a single quadcopter in the commercial was faked through CGI--they're all real drones flying in perfect precision.

Come get some yummy olives and apples!
The olive drupes are coloring up very nicely this week so I can say for sure that we will start doing the U-picks on Saturday, October 19 from 9-12. The olives will go for $3.50 per pound and I will have several types of recipes available. This is a fun family thing to do, pick the olives, take them home and cure them yourselves. We also have Fuji Apples that are ripe and ready to eat for you U pickers. They wll sell for $1.50 per p...
