The epic saga continues as I try to get my +Logitech G930 headset replaced, we're going on day 18 with email support. It's been 5 days since I was told I would receive an RMA and return shipping label from them; I would have made another post to the help ticket, but the average response time seems to be about 3 days, every single time.

I decided to call support today, which took me through a series of various menu choices which were not always clear to talk to a rep who gave me a suspicious "hmmm" when the phone number I gave her was different than what she had on the ticket, despite everything else matching. I was then put on hold, for what reason I couldn't tell you since I could barely understand the rep only to have her come back and tell me I should have an email by Monday with my RMA.

Seriously? Monday? There's a big difference between 48 hours and 7 days; I'll believe it when I see it.

What ever happened to "we'll send you a replacement right away and you'll have 10 days to return the defective item; you can use the box you received the new one in, and your RMA slip with return label will be inside. If we don't receive it within that time, we'll charge your card the amount of the new device. That's how +Western Digital does it and  I think that's a totally fair policy that protects both parties.

I've been a faithful customer of Logitech for years because they've always been great about sending out replacements right away when ever I've had an issue and in fact have on occasion sent the newer model of the product I had as a replacement simply telling me to destroy the label or numbers on the defective device before throwing it away. This used to be handled in a quick 10 min phone call.

I have no issue sending defective equipment back to the manufacturer but I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to find or even read the serial and part numbers, or to get a RMA and spend countless hours on correspondence.

I don't know what happened when for Logitech to become such a difficult company to deal with, but it certainly gives weight to the horror stories I've heard from others who say they'll never buy again. I may be joining that camp.

I am very inclined to find a brand and stick with them but they have to earn my loyalty. A rash of experiences with brands I was formerly devoted to has made me more of an opportunist. I buy what makes sense because every companies customer support is in the shitter.

A falling tide lowers all ships.

+Scott McMahon planted the seed into my head with the promotion he's doing with his #indiefilm   "The Cube" and doing a Netflix recommendation style comparative "If you liked this then you might like..."

I'm having a  surprisingly difficult time trying to find comparatives for Dark Roast, though I guess that's kind of a good thing that it's not too similar to anything else out there?

The best one I can think of is if you liked "Dead Like Me" then you might like "Dark Roast"

Runner-ups to that are if you liked "Supernatural", "Being Human" or "Warehouse 13" you might like +Dark Roast

Hey +Pete Yagmin this is cool how you built your +Dark Roast page.  I've only seen the trailer, so I can only gleam that there is some dead bodies.  Haha.  Maybe you could do Danny Boyle's film, "Shallow Grave"?  Keep up the good work!

I absolutely love Dave Attell. I caught him @ the Orpheum in Boston with  Lewis Black and Mitch Hedberg and he's one of the most humble comedians I've ever met. He's a super nice guy and I'm so happy to see him returning to television.
It's been an entire decade since the final season of Insomniac aired on Comedy Central, as well as four years since the short lived Gong Show with Dave Attell went off the air, not to mention that he hasn't done a stand-up special since 2007's Captain...

For my next trick film, I'd really like to do something cyberpunk/fantasy ala #Shadowrun . If you've got an idea in your head or an unpublished work of fiction you think might fit the bill, we should chat.

Cool. That nit picky bit you are worrying about can be what makes the difference between good and great. Attention to detail shouldn't be overlooked as a desired quality in a film maker.
