I had a Nintendo rather than Atari, but the rest is spot on!

What blows my mind when I think about it is that you could put the statement "How I lived without a smartphone" under all of those pictures!

Well well well, no sooner than Nokia's device division has been palmed off to Microsoft, they're back - but this time with Android (as it should have been all along)... The N1 seems to be a not-too-shabby tablet, running the latest Android (Lollipop) straight out of the gate!

Next up is the rumoured C1Android phone. Could this mark the return of the Nokia we all loved until 10 years ago?
Introducing Nokia N1, the tablet that thinks ahead. Take a look at the features, like the predictive Nokia Z Launcher, one-piece aluminum body and more.

A fantastic cream tea, in a wonderful cosy 16th century courtyard setting.

Tuesday night is "Bike Night" down on Poole quay. I'm not a big fan of motorbikes, but it's nice to see friendly gatherings like this.

Now this has suddenly become more appealing to me...
LONDON — How much computer can you buy for just $35? For fans of Raspberry Pi, a British-made computer aimed at children, hobbyists and tinkerers, the answer is quite a lot. On Monday, the British charity behind the minicomputer announced a new version that was significantly more powerful that ...

These are nice features, and ones I've been expecting/waiting for since the Xbox 360 came out!
Microsoft’s Windows 10 coverage included a generous heap of announcements about their gaming plans for the platform. The core of the XBox experience is now a cross-platform app. This XBox app will be available for Windows 10 PCs and Tablets. It brings My Games, Messages, Friends, Activity Feed, cross-platform gameplay & voice and text chat …

Yeah, people are always going to bash 8.1 as being a half-baked "in-between" OS, like Vista, but in my opinion it's more like Windows 7.2 - Windows 8.0 was a bit of a stinker. The changes for 8.1 are subtle, but noticeable when you try to go back to using 8.0.

Even as partial as I am to this great American delicacy, £7.50 is a bit too extreme for me!

Well, this is the news I was expecting, but hoping wouldn't happen. Going to have to make the most of the PS3 online experience before this is released and it becomes a ghost town...

GTAV is coming to PS4, Xbox One & PC this fall. Watch the all-new trailer at in 1080P.

This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long while. The ambience was just right, the decor gave a very cosy and "earthy" feel. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The presentation was amazing too (although I'm not somebody who marks food on how it's presented, it is worth noting here). The staff were all polite and helpful and did not frown upon our group being present in only "casual" clothes. As I think somebody else noted in their review, it's upmarket without being pretentious. I wish there were a restaurant like this near to where I live!

This is a lovely little shop with a small selection of offerings, but what is offered is far more diverse than you might find in a chain store. They have a small, but individual selection of gift cards (which is my usual reason for visiting this shop) and a variety of "trinkets" and unusual items. A great place to visit if you're stuck for gift ideas. The ambiance of the shop is pleasant, and my dealings with the people running the shop have always been pleasant too.
