It's June 2015 and the wasps are waking up from their long winter sleep. Be careful when entering shed houses, garages  and other outdoor areas as the wasps are aggressive and hungry and will sting if approached. Call Pestend for an annual wasp inspection and treatment. Its better to be safe than sorry!

Its April 2015 and it's getting warmer outside, this means that bed bugs are coming out since spring is their prime mating season. Most people do not know that bed bugs do not like the cold and can die in really cold Canadian temperatures. To prevent an infestation contact us for advice.

These beautiful insects are called the blue-banded bees, they are local to Australia and what makes them unique is that they use a special technique called "buzz pollination", which involves vibrating their bodies to shake particles of pollen free from flowers. Crops such as tomatoes, blueberries, eggplants and chilies rely on it. Brought to you by Pestend Bee Control http://www.pestend.ca/wasp-nest-removal-toronto/

New research from James Cook University proved yesterday that clownfish larvae the size of a grain of rice can travel up to 400 km across the open ocean to find a home. 400 km is the distance from Toronto to Detroit Michigan. Just imagine a new born baby walking from Toronto to Detroit!!!
