Glaucoma can affect anyone, but some people have a higher risk factor. People over the age of 60, people of certain ethnic groups including African-Americans and Asian-Americans, people with a family history of glaucoma, and people with medical conditions like diabetes, heart diseases, high blood pressure and hypothyroidism, are all at a higher risk of developing glaucoma. Don't skip your annual eye exam.
