I've appreciated this convo because of the comments being backed by example not simply an attack of insults like usual haha. I appreciate android's huge range of personalization and options in settings. But in retrospect, the real reason I loved android was #swiftkey
. It was the best part of android. However, I made the switch to an iPhone 5 and couldn't be happier. I have other Apple products so the iCloud and sync experience has just been painless. On android I was always struggling to find ways to sync my apple products with my android galaxy s3. Also, the most noticeable difference that had me loving my iPhone is that all the time I spend actually using my phone is about equal to the time I spent trying to make my android work the way I wanted it to (battery life, performance, etc.). My iPhone just works, every time. I see me sticking with iPhone for a long time, though I can imagine a day where Android / Google just hands down outdoes Apple and a switch back might be tempting. Ya know what I mean? But for the most part, I'm loyal to Apple for all they have allowed me to do creatively and efficiently. Thanks for letting me nerd vent here with all of you! Ha!
Let me know if you have had a similar experience!
