Why do the Meditation Program? Here is what my 10 year old son says about it.

Meditation and stress
You know and I know that multiple people have left our class. And guess what the main reason was, stress. You have it, I have it, but no one wants zero stress. Do you know why nobody wants zero stress? Because, zero stress means you are dead, so no one wants that! But too much stress also cause health problems. So, let me show you how to manage stress with meditation.
My parents told me about managing stress with meditation about a year ago. But I really got into it about two weeks ago, after I took a stress management class at my parent’s office. Today, I wanted to share some of my knowledge with you. I am going to tell you how to manage stress and what is meditation.
Meditation is a stress management technique that helps to deal with stress. It can help you keep you away from stress for as long as you want. “Studies show that people who are meditating have lower blood pressure, slower breaths and heart rate.” (1)
There are multiple myths about meditation. First, meditation is not only a religious belief; instead meditation is for anyone who wants to escape from stress. Another myth is you must meditate for hours to go deep, but just a couple of minutes will make you feel better. Another myth is when you meditate you will become a monk but anyone that practices meditation can benefit with a relaxed and peaceful mind.
There are different techniques for meditation but one of my favorites is the breathing technique. In this technique, you take a long slow deep breath through your nose, and in your mind, count slowly to five. When you inhale fully at five hold the breath for five more counts. Then slowly release the breath trough your nose to the count of ten. That is a simple meditation technique that can help you with stress and can prevent lots of health problems.
