Peppercorn’s Grill and Piccolo Arancio are owned and operated by the Cialfi brothers Sal and Dino. They purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and they, along with younger sisters Tina and Rosa opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian upbringing.
Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When their uncle felt that the two brothers education was complete, he helped them open their own restaurant in Rome, Piccolo Arancio and became internationally acclaimed within their first year. Now operated by their cousins, Piccolo Arancio remains near the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
Both restaurants produce award-winning cuisine and continue to receive high honors and awards.

I have traveled to many places around the world, and peppercorns is the closest italian food i ever tasted in new england. The pasta and risotto were cooked perfect. The service was excellent i was very pleased.

Had a wonderful experience here. My wife and I were seated promptly and were attended to frequently. Our waiter, Bill, did an excellent job recommending menu items to us as it was our first time here. They have a varied selections of wines and a large specials menu. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I don't recall the last time I had food that tasted this good!

My wife and I are new to the area and we wanted to try this restaurant on date night. Well, I am glad my beautiful wife was the focal point of the evening because the food was not. We are foodies and our meal/experience let us down. Our server was very pleasant but she disappeared for long periods of time. Entrees arrived and our server was accompanied by a second server. The second server placed my plate on the table kneeled down and wiped something from the floor then attempted to hover over my food in order to apply pepper with a pepper mill. Our main server recognized this unsanitary practice and quickly removed the pepper mill from the hand of the second server. Our bill was over $120 dollars but the true value may have been closer to $30 or $40 dollars. Upon closer review of google and yelp reviews it appears Peppercorn's Grill might have been a destination for us in years past but certainly not at this time. We really wanted to like this restaurant. We are disappointed we could not.

We dinned in this past weekend on a business Meeting at Peppercorn's. We were a group of 5 people and everyone of us loved everything. The food was amazing the "polpo" was wonderful. Was so good we still talk about it. The drinks were really good the pama tini was so tasty. The service was wonderful. We will definitely come back.

Been here twice. Both times the service took FOREVER. Second time they weren't even busy. Took forever for the wine. Bread came 45 minutes after sitting down. Ordered the steak medium, it came super rare. The waiter was blowing smoke the whole time... he knew we had a show to get too but wouldn't give me a straight answer as to how much longer it would take. Ended up walking out. I've never done that before. Will never come here again. The manager offered to comp my steak, which was nice, but by now it had been over an hour and a half. Had to go to the show on an empty stomache. AVOID! Food was pretty good the first time, but still took forever. Constantly had to ask for the check... service is terrible, that's this place's problem.
