Definitely one of the nicest places I've stayed at in Pemberton. Located only 25 minutes north of Whistler, BC. I Enjoyed there heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Great mountain views from my room! Highly recommend you stay here.

First of all I'd like to say that the initial service was excellent and the facilities are more than acceptable. I stayed along with several other people in a two bedroom suite which included everything just as they've advertised. HOWEVER, my only issue is with their unethical business practice on over charging/extra charges. During my stay at the middle of the night I suddenly felt sick and puked up my stomach contents at edge of sofa bed. The vomit splashed onto part of the mattress and ended up mostly on the carpet. I clean up the mess the best I can using the bed sheet to wipe everything off the carpet and leaving it in the bathtub for the cleaners. About 1 week later, we were charged $500 dollars for "cleaning fees" and "room damage" I spoke to a manger there and he explain that this is the non negotiable charge for things of this nature. When I mentioned that major hotel chains "Ramada, holiday Inn, Sandman ect.. charge in the $70-$250 range for this sort of stuff he went on to explain that the fee is not only for the carpet cleaning but the charge is so high because they had to throw out 2 sheets, 1 blanket and 2 pillow cases. All of which you can get for under 30 bucks in total at wal-mart. The same manager failed to transfer me to his supervisor when I asked to speak with that person of these fees. He also changed his tone when I advised him that I will be witting a negative review of my experiences and went on to accuse me of threatening his business. So there you have it ladies and gents. $500 dollars for carpet cleaning and some pillowcases and sheet. Beware of staying here when other hotels in the area have vacancies.

We have been coming to the Pemberton Valley lodge 2 to 3 times a year for the past 3 years. We liked being a bit away from busy Whistler and get to pay a little less on our accommodation. This time around we were very disapointed. The hotel claims it is pet freindly. We got a bill for $47.00 for one night for our little dog... I do not call this pet freindly at all. Unfortunately this will be our last vist

The only thing this hotel cares about is money. They refuse to give me any sort refund for a room I booked online. I have a major family emergency and the manager told me he will not refund me until legal documents are IN HIS HANDS. Right, because that's the first concern of mine at a time like this. Disgusting.

Although there were many empty rooms, we we allocated a room that is facing the road on the first floor. They refuse to change the room allocation saying that the system does not allow them to do it even when most of the rooms are empty. In addition, location of this place is extremely bad. It is away from everything. Fat from ski area and restaurant.

This place does everything right! A beautiful location and amazing quality at a great price. You get what you expect from a great hotel in Whistler and more. The small touches that add to the experience. Very clean rooms and common areas. Amazing pool area with actual heated pool. Very well equipped rooms feel welcoming and are good for children too. Love this place. Have been here 5 times and will continue to go. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only negative I have is the weak barbecue (must be hard to keep clean from people not cleaning after they cook on it). Vermont Casting though....spared no expense.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this lodge. Originally had booked a month earlier but had to cancel due to a family issue. Front desk were very friendly and there was no problem in allowing us to cancel on short notice (ended up being a trail and hiking ban that weekend due to forest fires so that ended up working out well). We rebooked and arrived with our large germain shephard dog which the hotel staff were extremely friendly towards. Some hotels advertise "dog friendly" but do so begrudgingly and are somewhat suspect if you bring anything larger than a toy breed; NOT SO with this hotel. There were dog snacks waiting in the room for our friend, a placemat and bowl, and directly behind the lodge (50 feet from front door) are miles of dog-friendly hiking trails. A bear-proof garbage can and poop-bags are located there also to help make staying with our fur-friends convenient. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy (we had a 1 bedroom, with full kitchen, stove, fridge, dishwasher). Beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub had a view of surrounding mountains (would be neat in the winter to sit in the hot tub and have snow falling on you). Also a couple large BBQ's in the pool area available for guest use. Coffee was provided free in the room, but also was a Starbucks "serve-yourself" mini-bar in the lobby for which there was a small charge ($1.75-ish) for coffee, espresso, etc. Until traveling here we didn't realize how close this was to Whistler (20 minutes). Highly recommended for a stay, and especially if travelling with a dog.
