We have been coming to the Pemberton Valley lodge 2 to 3 times a year for the past 3 years. We liked being a bit away from busy Whistler and get to pay a little less on our accommodation. This time around we were very disapointed. The hotel claims it is pet freindly. We got a bill for $47.00 for one night for our little dog... I do not call this pet freindly at all. Unfortunately this will be our last vist

This place does everything right! A beautiful location and amazing quality at a great price. You get what you expect from a great hotel in Whistler and more. The small touches that add to the experience. Very clean rooms and common areas. Amazing pool area with actual heated pool. Very well equipped rooms feel welcoming and are good for children too. Love this place. Have been here 5 times and will continue to go. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only negative I have is the weak barbecue (must be hard to keep clean from people not cleaning after they cook on it). Vermont Casting though....spared no expense.

We stayed at this lodge for one night last week, and had a really lovely time! The room had a separate bedroom, a pullout in the living room (which was perfect for our teenage son), two TV's, a small patio, washer/dryer (in the room!) and full kitchen. There is also an exercise room, pool, and hot tub, and underground parking. We arrived by motorcycle after bailing out on another place in town and were REALLY happy with this lodge. The room was clean and well-appointed and the staff was very nice. We would definitely stay there again. The only drawback, as has been mentioned, is the lack of a restaurant. I can't figure out why such a nice place has no restaurant. There's certainly room to build one right in front. On the other hand, it's a short 10-minute walk to a few places to eat in town. Also, Highway 99 all the way from Vancouver through Pemberton and continuing north through Lilloet (sp?) is a really scenic drive, and great on motorcycles!

Although there were many empty rooms, we we allocated a room that is facing the road on the first floor. They refuse to change the room allocation saying that the system does not allow them to do it even when most of the rooms are empty. In addition, location of this place is extremely bad. It is away from everything. Fat from ski area and restaurant.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this lodge. Originally had booked a month earlier but had to cancel due to a family issue. Front desk were very friendly and there was no problem in allowing us to cancel on short notice (ended up being a trail and hiking ban that weekend due to forest fires so that ended up working out well). We rebooked and arrived with our large germain shephard dog which the hotel staff were extremely friendly towards. Some hotels advertise "dog friendly" but do so begrudgingly and are somewhat suspect if you bring anything larger than a toy breed; NOT SO with this hotel. There were dog snacks waiting in the room for our friend, a placemat and bowl, and directly behind the lodge (50 feet from front door) are miles of dog-friendly hiking trails. A bear-proof garbage can and poop-bags are located there also to help make staying with our fur-friends convenient. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy (we had a 1 bedroom, with full kitchen, stove, fridge, dishwasher). Beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub had a view of surrounding mountains (would be neat in the winter to sit in the hot tub and have snow falling on you). Also a couple large BBQ's in the pool area available for guest use. Coffee was provided free in the room, but also was a Starbucks "serve-yourself" mini-bar in the lobby for which there was a small charge ($1.75-ish) for coffee, espresso, etc. Until traveling here we didn't realize how close this was to Whistler (20 minutes). Highly recommended for a stay, and especially if travelling with a dog.

This hotel has started spamming me with junk mail. I made a reservation by phone. I hesitated to provide my email address but they insisted saying that is how they would send a confirmation. I was assured it would not be used for any other purpose. Now comes the spam. I have left a message for the manager but never got a call back. Accommodation was fine - a bit sterile.
