For almost $400 a night. You'd assume service would be more of a concern. 1am check in) Rude, and incredibly unhelpful. Robotic. 715 am check out) absolutely no sense of urgency about anything. With one gentleman b4 me... it took 10 minutes. This was a company paid hotel, to keep me from sleeping in the airport after a flight delay. I was in this hotel all of 5hrs and it only took 12mins to leave a bad impression. Room) nothing special. Amenities) never got to use them. But im sure they're worth the extra "resort fee" on the bill. Wont be back Will not recommend.

I have stayed at the PGH several times but found the hotel a bit tired this time. The balconies were showing signs of rust from the exterior view, an enclave on the floor I was on showed walls peeling where once a beverage machine stood, the telephone by the bed didn't work, the coffee pot had a short, and the toilet had not been thoroughly cleaned below the rim in some time. In most instances the staff is gracious and very helpful but the towel boys at the beach were a little underwhelmed to be on the look out for how to help. This is a great hotel with wonderful amenities but someone needs to pay better attention to the details.

The front desk person was uninterested re: my requests, room placement was the opposite of requested and the room configuration is the opposite as well. The uncomfortable, outdoor fabric couches are placed in what would be a lovely room with doors opening to the balcony and ocean, magnificent, but the sofas are crazy uncomfortable and then there's a glass wall separating out the bedroom, blocking the ocean view. The bathroom was not cleaned well and was dated as was the furniture in the room. The bed was worn and awful, I suggest you bring your own pillows. The back porch and ocean access are excellent which earned the hotel it's first star and the outdoor dinner dining earns the second. Our meal was delicious, fresh and exactly as we had ordered it. The ambiance was romantic and lovely.

The hotel is located on the ocean of north Ft Lauderdale beach, away from the main hotel strip. Every room faces the water. The room had a balcony to enjoy the sound of the soothing waves. The suite decor was like a seaside cottage. We ate at the bar and ordered a delicious caesar salad which came with a choice of 5 different selections from chicken to fish of the day. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is not as nice as I remember. They have this program where there are owners of rooms, who rent them out. They are cheaper up front, but then end up being the same price after all of the ad ons, like the daily cleaning fee. They don't automatically clean your room, you have to request it 24 hrs in advance. Little annoying things like that make this not a good choice. Stay else where.
