A great Irish pub has become an overpriced American dive. For a period of 3 years my friends and I would meet for drinks and grub about every 2 weeks. There was a friendly atmosphere, great specials and good music. A little over a year ago things began to change. The menu was shortened, the food became terrible, the specials were removed, the decor changed and the atmosphere went downhill. It used to be busy almost every night of the week. Now, the place is dead. My friends and I came in for a good time but left after one beer. It's missing all the things that made it great.

First off, this is hardly an irish pub. It's more like a hooters where the waitresses wear plaid skirts instead of shorts. The operations are based on exploiting the bodies of the women who work there to convince horny old snow birds to spend more money on bland food and weak dunks. Now don't get me wrong, more power to the women who make their money that way, but unless you are a horny old snow bird, or unless you particularly like bland food and weak drinks, you will probably find this bar to be mediocre and overpriced at best.

Unbelieveable! I grew up in Ozona and I walk in to my old bar to hear the patrons complaining about the bartenter/manager Adam. I'm chatting with a fellow Marine and now a spec ops contractor and the girls are going "wheres the alcohol"? I'm thinking, great, my fiancee doesnt drink, at all really. So I order her a Daquori, what she got was crushed ice floating over some redish mix. We ask the waitress; "does this look remotely like a frozen drink to you"? the table next to us is laughing at this point, see? So I test this theory and order a Cuervo tequila "neat" what I got was barely 1 oz in a plastic cup for $7.5, now we're all laughing at this short, fat, grubby little man wiping his hands on his pants and being obnoxious. The next drink I used to make at Tradewinds resort when I was a bartender, a Sex on the beach. She cut her lip from THE GLASS THAT WAS IN IT!! I report this and the worlds worst Daquori and we get no credit for it. So I go up there to warn the bar about the glass in his ice well. He smirks and starts "high fiveing" some local drunk guy. I said "you don't give a sh*t, do you"? Whats your name dude? Adam, he says. My friends file out of the bar and Adam comes over to yell at us and throw us out. My advice to the owner; Clean out your ice well and can that idiot bartender that cant make a drink, before your neighbor Fran Haash is on your doorstep. I'm sure he is making y ou money in the short term with his rip off pour counts? But now you will see this review in every venue on the net untill he his gone. We, your customers, are in full agreement on this.

I used to LOVE the place...I ordered a draft beer and to my dismay it was warm...I was told they had NO cold glasses..who wants piss warm beer? One of the servers had shorts on that were so short she kept pulling at her crotch,,,REALLY! Keep your mitts out of your groin. I was so disgusted I don't think I'll ever return the attitude of the staff was ...OH WELL THIS IS IT! Take it or leave it. The revise is not that of an Irish pub. More like a tilted kilt..and we all know what happened to them. The fish and chips were served hot and the beer cheese soup was perfect but the crab cake a la lotta panko were luke warm at best and had to be sent back to be reheated,,,,very unhappy with the new venue. Would have liked to speak with the manager ,,,,,guess he wasn't in on a Friday night..LOL

This place use to be my favorite tavern for food, drinks, and indoor scenery. However over the last year they seem to have a large staff turnover. The quality of the food has dropped considerably. I've gone back for my favorite the 1/2 lb. chicken strips with either the Boom Boom or the garlic seasoning. Both times the chicken was wet with grease and I'm not sure that they were cooked completely? I sincerely hope that you guys get back on track! Please get some solid cooks and minimize the high turn-over in help. You have a great menu, when prepared properly!!! I wish you all the best and look forward to being a regular customer again.
