Get the most out of Google+ Help Community

The official community for helping the Google+ users is a good place to learn more about the ins and outs of G+. The community is meant for everyone who wants to know more or is facing an issue using Google+.

The community is NOT for selfies, family photos, location sharing, ads or some such spam. Nor is it meant for questions about Facebook or Clash of Clans, or your service provider problems.
It's all about Google+!

Please don't share your email or phone number in your post or on any comments: Your question will be answered in the community, Google does not contact you because the community is for help.

When posting a question, do pay attention to the correct category. Also try to explain your problem as well as possible, it makes helping you quicker and easier.  

Don't disable the comments in the post or use a restricted profile as that makes it impossible for us to help you.

And please, don't comment on other people's posts unless you have something to contribute.  If you wish to ask something, do create your own post.

Using a browser you can search the community for keywords, the search box is under the community profile photo.
For instance, if you have a problem with Auto Backup or don't know how to create a business page, try searching for those words or sentences.

Google+ Top Contributors are user volunteers who know quite a lot about the platform and they're moderators in the community; You can also search for the posts and comments by their name using the search box inside the community.

If you notice some users replying well to a lot of questions, those usually are Google+ Rising Stars, on their way perhaps becoming Top Contributors! :-)

When asking for help in the Community:

Give as much details on your issue or suggestion as possible.

The more details you give us, the easier it is for us to provide you with a solution.
It may even help to give us a step-by-step detail of what occurred leading up to the error, or the feature you want to see implemented.

When posting about an issue, the extremely useful details to include:

- Links to any Profiles or Pages involved
- Browser (and version) and OS you’re using
- Android or iOS App
- Any extensions enabled
- Does disabling extensions help the issue?
- Time issue last occurred
- Error messages you’re receiving
- Links to screenshots
