Why I'm a Google Top Contributor

I was asked by +Steady Demand to answer a few questions about how I became a Google Top Contributor and what I get out of the program.

The short answer: I came to the Google help forums looking for an answer to my own questions, and discovered there were other peoples' questions I was able to answer to myself.

Why did I stick around?
> I get great satisfaction helping people
> It helps keep me up-to-date with product features
> I get to hang out with other knowledgeable and passionate folks

The others profiled:
+Mike Blumenthal (Google My Business TC)
+Joy Hawkins (Google My Business TC)
+William Rock (Google Search TC)
+Tim Capper (Google My Business TC)
+Margaret Ornsby (Google My Business TC)
+Ben Fisher (Google My Business RS)

Here are the questions:

*Do you remember when you first started using the product you’re now a top contributor for?

*When you first started using the product, was there a Top Contributor who helped you out a lot?

*What was it about the product that got you interested in contributing to the community/forums about it?

*Contributing to a Google product forum is a lot of work—why do it?

*What’s one of the most common questions you get asked about the product?

*If you could wave a magic wand and change one thing about the product, what would it be?
