Money usually wins, not a bad thing though. You can't go about protecting old traditions at the expense of financial prosperity. Not to mention, with the ever growing number of non-religious ppl, who cares about the view of some cathedral? 

The parliament one, however, is interesting. I like the idea of "always keeping an eye on your gov't".
