There was one glint of hope in this tragicomedy. While the reporters just regurgitated our “findings,” many readers were thoughtful and skeptical. In the online comments, they posed questions that the reporters should have asked.
HT: and for the link
Yeah I know technically it's not Google's fault...Google has a big challenge ahead: Keep Android consistent inside an unbroken upgrade path, while at the same time avoid making enemies among phone manufacturers. This will not happen until phone manufacturers let go from the software and focus on what they do best, the hardware. But of course, everything works the best when everything is optimized. So, unfortunately I don't see any relief anytime soon.
At this point some "you should just switch to iPhone" moments have crossed my mind... And I tell you, thoughts like these don't cross my mind easily, but all of this is getting on my nerves already.
I really hope my phone gets better when 5.1.1 OTA comes, because at this point I feel helpless.

TL;DR: Hi, I'm Pedro, I'm an ex-Googler from the Webspam, Search Quality team. I'm a Managing Partner and Performance Strategy Consultant at apis3 and the Co-Founder of engeeno. Google page at +engeeno
I love the areas of Search, Web Usability, UX and Design. From March 2006 to September 2011 I worked for Google, as an Analyst in the Webspam team where everyday I dealt with spam and attempts of manipulation in the organic search results.
In September 2011 I left Google and Co-Founded Engeeno with another ex-Googler from the Search Quality team. Today we focus on Search Performance, Usability and helping move the web forward.
