Note to self: If you are ever going to impersonate a terrorist and threaten an airline using Twitter, make sure you are not using your own personal Twitter account.
A girl threatened American Airlines on twitter and the airline replied saying it would report her to the FBI.

I missed the modern pit stop.  All I saw was the vehicle pulled in and then it pulled out.  I had replay it several times to notice that tires were swapped in a second.

So, some genius at a mega church somewhere has the brilliant idea of releasing a bald eagle (I shit you not) inside the enclosed building. As the crowd of maniacs shout "USA! USA! USA!" the frightened bird (who is highly sensitive to loud noises)   tries desperately to escape, until it crashes agains one of the windows.

The Heartbleed bug shows that Google was ahead of the curve with its two-step verification. If you have not enabled two-step verification on your Google account, I strongly advise you to do so.

They should take this one step further and develop a smart wheel that produces enough power to be stored, then when the cyclist gets to their destination, they plug in to a (network of) power stations and upload power that can be used to feed the city. Obv, this requires urban strategists unlike anything we've see in america. But think about the possibilities if more people rode bikes. They could even plug them into power stations that do wifi. Imagine low cost green power neighbourhoods with free wifi everywhere! And it all came from people cycling outdoors or on their stationary bikes, going to a socket, plugging in and feeding the network. Pretty cool stuff!

Visited Syria right before all hell broke loose over there. Backpacked across China alone carrying only $500 in my pocket and carrying a phrase book.
