“Crade” and “Vivant”, both refers to the fact that the city – and our world in general – can not exist without time and motion and that it is imperfect. On the 7th to 12th of September 2015 I had the pleasure to participate in a Workshop at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalunya …

"Architecture is not about math or zoning — it's about visceral emotions," says Marc Kushner. In a sweeping — often funny — talk, he zooms through the past thirty years of architecture to show how the public, once disconnected, have become an essential part of the design process. With the help of social media, feedback reaches architects years before a building is even created. The result? Architecture that will do more for us than ever before.

You've never seen buildings like this. The stunning bamboo homes built by Elora Hardy and her team in Bali twist, curve and surprise at every turn. They defy convention because the bamboo itself is so enigmatic. No two poles of bamboo are alike, so every home, bridge and bathroom is exquisitely unique. In this beautiful, immersive talk, she shares the potential of bamboo, as both a sustainable resource and a spark for the imagination. "We have ha...

Dave Isay opened the first StoryCorps booth in New York’s Grand Central Terminal in 2003 with the intention of creating a quiet place where a person could honor someone who mattered to them by listening to their story. Since then, StoryCorps has evolved into the single largest collection of human voices ever recorded. His TED Prize wish: to grow this digital archive of the collective wisdom of humanity. Hear his vision to take StoryCorps global —...

Their concept of "buffet libre" it has to be changed to a real one! First they let you order 5 plates and then only if you eat all it you can order for more! Some of the plates where really oily and the tempura was not real tempura maybe the fact of being Chinese serving Japanese food is related with the quality! The desert is included on the price but its mandatory to pay for a drink! Conclusion: better to choose other restaurant with a "menu del dia" in Barcelona where you have everything included for a cheaper price.

Great place to visit if you are in Hanoi! Inside the Cinematheque there is a nice and cozy restaurant where you can taste typical vietnamese. For me it was a "must" when I was visiting this city.
