Our smoked brisket is roasted for 12 hours at 200 degrees over green alder wood. We only use local wood to help local merchants and farmers. The alder wood is green which means it is fresh cut and this helps for three main reasons.1. It lets off a white smoke so the smoke flavor has a nice sweetness to it. 2. It smokes longer 3. It burns softer then dry wood so the temperature is easier to keep at 200 degrees

Pecos...is making me drool a little out of the side of my mouth. I've been coming to this place for about 20 years. Best BBQ ever, hands down. Everyone has their favorites, and mine's the Pecos Beef (that's the shredded) Medium, extra messy. (bet I don't have to explain that last part!) ...

For 33 years, Ron and Debra Wise have been serving up "big 'n' messy" pulled pork sandwiches, beef briquet and sides. Line up with the construction workers and Starbucks HQers at this cheap, weekday "lunch-only" for phenomenal barbeque that's "meaty, messy" and — when you order it hot — searingly spicy.

A Four Letter Word That Rhymes With "Pit" You guys -- I'm starting to think that nobody on here has ever actually eaten real BBQ... This is bad, I overpriced, typical Seattle BBQ at its finest. There's nothing worth writing about, honestly. The staff was pleasant, but the product is just so insultingly mediocre. The brisket is too lean (I doubt they smoke with the nose), cut too thick, and the dry rub has no absolutely seasoning to it at all. It's not salty, spicy, or sweet -- just "burnt". That's the flavor of the meat. Their BBQ sauce is just as bad. It comes in one flavor: "hot" and varying degrees thereof. It tastes of black pepper and Tabasco. That's it; no acid, no sweetness. What a huge letdown. At ~$11+ sandwiches, they've got to be kidding. I've seriously had better "BBQ" from a grocery store. The McRib is better.

Originally from KC, I literally grew up on delicious BBQ. I've been in the PNW for years now and this is as close to home as it gets. Absolutely the best BBQ I have had within 200 miles. Always consistent with friendly, quick service. I highly recommend the sliced brisket and slaw. Just watch out for the sauce if you're a noob. The medium is what others would consider spicy. The hot may be over the top for most peeps.

Sorry everyone. I absolutely did not like this Bar-B-Que. Maybe it's because I'm from the south. Idk. The sauce is heavily peppered. I could not taste any smoke flavoring at all. That was a big disappointment. All I could taste was a too peppery sauce. Even the baked beans tasted the same as the beef brisket due to the sauce. I threw mine away and I've never done that before. Where I'm from, the sauce should enhance the smoke, not overpower it. I know many enjoy it here, but I'm missing true southern smoked Bar-B-Que.

Finally I found an awesome BBQ spot in Seattle! Fast service and deliciously slow cooked meat. Also I got medium spiciness on my sandwich and my mouth is on fire after! Be warned

Amazing and spicy BBQ sandwiches! Their nachos are also great. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich in medium spicy. Their baked beans are very tasty but very spicy.
