The Ramblers Festival of Winter Walks is back and they're inviting everyone to join in and explore Britain’s wintry landscapes.

This year’s festival runs from Saturday 23 December to Sunday 7 January: https://goo.gl/8jwt7S

Whatever your age or ability there’s a walk for you. There's fun festive-themed walks that the little ones will love; leisurely strolls under 5 miles for people new to walking; and longer walks for those that want more of a challenge over the Christmas break. For those of you who may be short on time or want a gentler stroll, why not join a health walk?

A 'snowbow' above the summit of Mam Tor - like a rainbow but only occurs when sunlight is refracted through snowflakes! Simply beautiful!

If you fancy yourself as a photographer, you still have until the end of December to enter the Moors for the Future Photo Competition 2017: https://goo.gl/9itZCQ
