Glassell Park, a neighborhood in Los Angeles where I used to live.

Every time when I take pictures of strangers, I wonder if ultimately the result is an honor of someone's presence at one point of time per my intention? What about the person's right to be forgotten, as is the idea of an EU law? And what about the idea of how a person is more meaningful that the will of individuals, and that they are a part of a community? As in, what's the meaning of life vs. the meaning of a life? To that extent, how does that differ from country to country? and ... classes?

Hello group!
I just joined because I'd like to jump into shooting my next serious project(s) with my 4x5 camera. It has been years since brought that out & set that up, and I mean YEARSsss...
My question is this : Is it still a common practice to test shoot with a polaroid? Relying on a light meter? A digital camera? Or just winging it? I won't be doing any studio lightings as for now.
Thank you in advance!
