Hey everyone, just a quick post today of a shot from a sunrise shoot I had back on Xmas eve morning. I must have taken over 20 shots of this composition just waiting for the wave action I wanted and I am glad that in this digital age I didn't have to worry about running out of space on my 16gig card. Hope you all are having a great week so far.

Hey everyone! This will be my last post for 2014. I took this long exposure last week at the Boynton Beach Inlet during sunrise. There were some storm clouds and the wind was pretty heavy so I figured I would try for a long exposure. I haven't had many successful long exposures this year but I am very happy with this one. No  filters except a CPL were used since sunrise was still about 15mins away. I always carry a small flash light in my bag so I used it to shine some light on the foreground rocks in order to get a focus, which I did manually with live view. I always use the histogram to gauge the exposure and I noticed it was a bit underexposed but I knew Lightroom would be able to recover it nicely. I will be posting another shot from that day but I haven't gone thru all my shots yet.
