Doctrine Date Modified On Update

Doctrine is a set of PHP class libraries that are focused on database storage and database management. The main projects with Doctrine are the ORM (Object Relational Manager) and DBAL (Database Abstraction Layer). Using these two projects Doctrine allows you to build up database entities in PHP code that will represent your application's database structure.

Having PHP classes to construct your database structure means that you can use fully object oriented code to construct the Database queries, this provides developers with a powerful alternative to SQL that maintains flexibility without requiring unnecessary code duplication.

Disable Emojicons Introduced In WordPress 4.2

As of WordPress version 4.2 WordPress enabled the use of Emojicons in your posts, but in order to do this it will automatically add some javascript to your page. But if you don't use Emojicons then it's adding pointless Javascript to the page which you will never use.

If you look inside the file /wp-includes/default-filters.php you will see all the filters and actions that are used to add the emoji code, all you have to do is search for the word emoji in this file to see the instances of these filters and actions.

PHP, Wordpress, jQuery, CSS and HTML5 Tutorials And Snippets
Introduction
Paulund is a website dedicated to writing tutorials and code snippets about Web Development, the main subjects are PHP, Wordpress, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML5.

Tutorials
Here you will find up to date tutorials about web development. Here you will find tutorials on PHP, Wordpress, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML5.

The inspiration for the tutorials shows from looking on community websites such as Github, Stackoverflow and Dribbble.

We use Github to look for new interesting projects so we can show people how to use them.

We search Stackoverflow, looking for common problems people are having so we can share the solution with others.

We use Dribbble to get PSDs from great designers and turn them into code for the web.

If you have any suggestions for a tutorial please get in a contact and message us here on G+.

Code Snippets
Along with writing tutorials about web development we like to keep Code snippets as a resource for everyone to use.

Please contribute to Paulund by providing us with Code Snippets. All code snippets you provide you will get a link back to your own site.

Write For Us
We are always looking for new authors to write interesting Web Development tutorials.
