The Agramonte cemetery in Porto was created in 1855, to bury victims of a cholera epidemic. For many years it was used merely as a burial ground. But in the 1870's it changed face and status, when it began to accept monuments. It became the favorite cemetery of the city by the end of the 19th century. Member of ASCE (Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe) and part of European Cemeteries Route.

The Bargello in Florence, Italy, is a great museum to visit, namely for its wonderful sculpture collection. It's one of the oldest buildings in the city, dating back to the 13th century and I also love it for other reasons. Here's why.

Definitely not a place you should find and visit, as it's an abandoned building in really bad shape. But it does provide one of the best rear windows to the city of Porto. Especially on cloudy days. So yes, that's an actual window. And the actual view.

Not that you need an excuse to walk the Flores street in Porto, but if you do it with bubbles, it's even better. Fujifilm X-T1 + Samyang 12mm

Locals prepare the decoration of the Válega church, to celebrate the jubilation on the priest. This church is a masterpiece of the azulejo (painted, glazed tile) art and one of the most beautiful in Portugal. Sure worth a visit, especially at sunset, as the main façade faces west. The interior is also amazing, with an exotic wood ceiling and wonderful tiles covering the walls. Válega is located near the town of Ovar and easy enough to reach fro...

Porto can and does boast some wonderful colors, which I love, but even today I best see its spirit in black and white. Fujifilm X-T1 + Samyang 12mm + My edit
