+Allen Partridge I so wish you would continue this series all the way through the product. It's the most valuable one I've found, as it truly shows BEGINNERS how to use it. I so want Adobe to be more welcoming to beginners, so my teacher friends will join me in learning it. I want to work with them on projects, but they too feel like I did a couple years ago: No true help for beginners. These are AWESOME!!!! Do more, please? You RULE!

Great song for lots of struggling readers, on lots of levels. But for the VERY beginning basics: Yes, I can. Perfect!

WOW, teachers! Check out the metacognition program this incredible teacher created via the link below. Amazing! I'm pondering now how I could do this with my online students...hmmm....
Today my class was featured in an article in The Edmond Sun.  The reporter discussed our growing class brain in her article.  This has prompted questions from other interested teachers, so I’ve decided to give an update. The ...

Sally, thank you. Is there a recoloring images ability in Adobe Captivate 8 too? I know you mentioned it, but I need clarification. Thanks! Love this series! Found it through IconLogic. :)

+Paula Lee Bright Thanks for your note! To my knowledge, there is NOT a Recolor feature in Captivate. If I find that not to be true, I'll post it here. Thanks again! Sally

Yes, I've seen both, Chris. I wonder how far you could go with turning CD songs into hilarious or interesting videos? What software do you use? I too don't have kids, but--have LOTS of "my kids!"

My struggling readers will THRIVE with these songs. How can I contact a real person from Super Simple Songs? I couldn't find a website, but would love to talk for a moment.

Stellar work, so valuable.  I have so much to ask you! But won't bug you, I promise. Any chance someone could contact me?

Thanks either way. Your work is a gift that my students will relish, learn from and thrive with. I can't thank you enough. You're exactly what I've been searching for forever. xoxo

Perfect for my reading students. We'll draw the pig along with you, and then ifigure out the sounds in "pig" and write it! Yay, they'll love it!

#GoogleEduOnAir Some of these sound outstanding...but alas, as usual, I'm teaching at the time. Sigh. :-/

Nice job on how to publish. It cleared up a lot of questions for me. I've subscribed. Wonder if you could do some things on creating advanced actions that AREN'T involved with simulations. Understanding advanced actions is what's stalling me out! I'd be happy to send you an example of what I want, but can't make happen no matter how many times I try. Too much to ask, I know, but thought I'd give it a shot! :D Can't wait wo watch the rest of your Captivate 8 vids! 5 stars....

In addition to continuing my 1-on-1 teaching reading online to kids who've failed to learn in the schools, I'm now creating a program for those who can't afford a tutor. It's WRONG that only folks with $$ can help their kids!

I help kids who can't read to succeed—online!
Introduction
I love tutoring struggling readers online—and it works! Kids with reading problems fascinate me, and I know how to help. I was a public school teacher when I ran into health issues and had to retire. I missed teaching terribly!

This was before the days of all the online schools, and I'm so happy that I developed my own teaching studio to tutor kids who can't read, or are failing in school because of reading problems.

All my passion goes into my teaching. It's my heart, my soul, and my life. I'm a supremely happy, lucky lady. :)

If you know a child with reading problems, you can find me at http://yourchildwillread.com

I can teach almost any child to read. I love my work, and my children sense that, and they come to care about reading too.

I teach children who fail to learn to read at school or homeschool. We work online, using Skype. I share my screen. Every lesson is based on exactly what the child needs to learn at that moment in time. In the next lesson, we review what was learned, then move on to new stories. I love it! I'm currently working on an interactive reading program for kids whose parents can't afford a tutor. I hope to make it amazingly affordable. Coming soon.
