Today we took the boys out wander around Morgan Glen in Larkhall. It was almost perfect walking weather, just a bit cold.

Living in Hamilton I'm blessed with so many different places to visit and so much history to enjoy. Unfortunately every year more and more of Hamilton seems to disappear, most recently St John's Grammar School, and it got me thinking, I don't actually have many pictures of Hamilton.
You see, I grew up in Hamilton and the area has changed so much in the last 30 odd years and I thought, by the time my children are grown up what will it look like then, will they remember how it was? So the other day when I had a couple of hours spare I went out a walk. I had a particular place in mind as my destination, so off I went towards Cadzow Glen.
The Glen is a small wooded walk that runs from Kwik Fit on Union Street down to the back of Hamilton Town House, it's not a long walk but it's a nice walk. It also took me around the back of St John's Grammar, so it would let me see what little remained and hopefully snap a couple of pictures, which I did.
I walked towards the court house, then down towards Peacock Cross, then along Union Street. There's some amazing houses along that street, large and decorative and most have some huge back gardens, I've always loved this street. After walking through the Glen I walked back up Cadzow Street and headed home. Here's some pictures I snapped on my walk, all taken on the Huawei P9.

For the last couple of months I've been using a Huawei P9. Its been a great mobile phone and I've been suitably impressed with the cameras. I've written a short post with a couple of dozen pictures so people can see the quality and judge for themselves. It amazing how far mobile phone cameras have come along in these past few years.
