Witnessed this 10 years ago with a speaker who left her mic on while stepping out to use the ladies room. Still tell the story today.

Fantastic voices, crazy dance moves and a lot of soul. Stagger Lee at #DTC had me hooked in the first 5-minutes.

Introduction
Started my career in trade show and conference management more than 15 years ago at World Floor Covering Association in Anaheim, CA. When WFCA sold their Surfaces trade show to Hanley Wood I was given a job offer I couldn't refuse and thus, moved to Dallas. My career at Hanley Wood spanned 13 years, eight trade shows and countless remarkable people. My next career was to dmg :: events working on ad-tech as Content Director.

Yes this is a chain, but the pastries and beverages are exceptional. I love the asian influence in the pastries like green tea croissants, pistachio with orange peel and rice balls with red beans. Their version of the cronus is spot-on. Drinks are made well though the staff lack personality but still efficient.

I prefer the corn empanadas but everything on the menu is great. The Brasil, Spicy Chicken and Reggaeton are my favorites. Drinks are poured stiff and relatively inexpensive for being so close to Times Square. The restaurant is very small so expect a wait, but well worth it.

The hotel is nicely appointed and has a relaxed vibe to it, though it is a little tired in the guest room halls and the rooms themselves. Staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. This is a pet friendly hotel and a colleague's room smelled like a kennel. Hotel service staff cleaned the room thorougly and freshened it up. This is a great get-away placeif you don't want to go anywhere but on hotel property.

Very fresh products with no additives to keep the salad fresh, longer. Southwest Caesar Zeppelin is a little spicy but the creamy dressing takes off some of the heat. The bread is incredible and reminds me of being in France.

Every item on the menu is great but the scene stealer is the guacamole. The cart is rolled up to your table and it is made right in front of you with add-ins of your choice (jalapeno, tomatoes, BACON!...) Grapevine is lucky to have this restaurant.

Dan is prompt and easy to work with. I had two small trees that needed to be removed and stump ground down plus two crepe myrtles to trim near the roofline. Because of the small size of the job his crew did it to fill in their schedule so it was nice surprise to come home and find the yard spruced up. Tree Service by Dan does great work at a very fair price and has outstanding reviews online.

An important business trip lies in the week ahead and of course, I get a terrible head cold verging on a sinus infection. I called on a Sunday morning and the receptionist told me there was currently no line. Arriving 20-minutes later to Doctors Express with no appointment, I did some brief paperwork and then was called in to the nurse's station and immediately met with the doctor. The facility is convenient, nicely equipped and the staff is amazing. The doctor is methodical and takes time to suggest treatment. If I can't get to my own doctor, this is the only urgent care I'll visit.
