I did the MS Bike Tour in the Niagara region today. Thanks to +Tee Lew for asking me to ride this year. +Sarah McNeil and +Carl Kung joined me as well as the rest of our team. +Laura Krick was there for moral support and to cheer us on at the finish. Thanks to all those who donated! I raised over $1100 myself and our team raised over $22,000. We made this into a whole weekend trip. We went outlet mall shopping. Then after checking in at our motel, we hung out at the beach before having our official pasta dinner where I won a door price of some bicycle related items. On actual ride day I had a great 75KM ride with a personal best pace. https://www.strava.com/activities/684013493

Afterwards we went to Brimstone brewery, the Upper Canada Cheese Company, Cave Springs winery and then finally Dillon's Small Batch Distillers. For dinner we hit up Hutch’s on the Beach for fish and chips. A great finish to a great weekend.

What would have really been cool would have been side by side shots of what the venue looked like when it was in use, and what it looks like now. I think the contrast of the 2 would have really drove home the point.

So my mom's tablet died (Nexus 7 Wifi) and I replaced it by giving her my Nexus 7 (2013) LTE. She will take advantage of the Cellular data much more than I as she doesn't have a smartphone.

So now I need a new tablet for myself.
Though I would like an 8" 4:3 or 3:2 tablet, the Samsung S2 is overpriced and the Asus Zenpad 8S is over a year old and stuck on Android 5. There doesn't seem to be any other options in that category. The nVidia shield seems to be the best bet even though it's 16:10. Any opinions? Seems to be a fair price and an almost stock Android experience.
The new NVIDIA SHIELD tablet K1 is a high-performance Android tablet, made to game with the SHIELD controller and GeForce NOW cloud gaming service.

+Lennart Sorensen Yeah, 10" is way too big for what I use my tablet for. Laura's Nexus 9 is too big. As for Android versions, Android 6 has been out for almost a year now, there is no way I would buy tablet that doesn't come with it or has an upgrade to it. I'm not going backwards in Android versions from what I had.
