Yes Paul I read your post several times and thanks for the clarification. Your intent is clear. Does my rather cheeky interpretation shed any light on how your post can be read regardless of your intent?

I hope it does. That was my, intent.

If we are not happy with the interpretation of things we write perhaps we need to think more before posting opinions of such broad implied degradation. I have expressed my opinion very strongly in my recent posts and yours does serve to remind me of the danger in doing so. So while I am sure that was also, not your intent. Thank you, none the less.

Do we need a Trainer and Assessors registration board?   After my previous post and a number of comments and discussions in a variety of forums, I got to thinking about this idea of a registration board for Trainers and Assessors in the VET sector.  Now I…

I wrote about this topic almost 12 months ago, (I don’t want to be a trainer all my life) but a couple of conversations I have had recently have got me thinking again about the whole concept of career progression, talent management and succession in both…

A lot of training providers talk endlessly about their ability to customise a program to meet the needs of an organisation.  However, how many of them actually do it or do it in a way that really meets the needs of the organisation?     I think…

We talk about VET as being industry led and aimed at the needs of industry and skilling of workers, yet in most organisations L&D departments spend large sums of money on non-accredited, sometimes overseas based programs to meet their staff training…
